Our Solution: Custom Inserts & Protective Boxing We worked closely with the U.S. Mint to develop a custom packaging solution. Here’s what we did: Precision-Cut Inserts: We designed and manufactured custom inserts made from a high-density foam. Each insert was specifically molded to hold each coin securely in place, preventing any movement during shipping or storage. We used a soft foam that wouldn't scratch the delicate surfaces of the coins. Protective Outer Box: The inserts were then placed inside a sturdy cardboard box. We chose a high-quality cardboard that provided excellent protection against crushing and impact. The box was designed to fit the inserts snugly, minimizing any internal movement. Acid-Free Materials: Crucially, all materials we used were acid-free. This prevents the gradual degradation of the coins over time. Acid in packaging materials can cause spotting and discoloration, which would be disastrous for a collector.
